Need Help-Urgent Order

Write a two- to three-page analysis using the Case Study on pages 325-327 of your textbook, “Expatriate Management at AstraZeneca.”

Your analysis should address the following questions:

1. Critically analyze AstraZeneca’s expatriate management practices.

2. According to the 2007 Expatriate Work/Life Balance Survey, 65% of expats report feeling the strain of managing

the demands of work and home, leading to more anxieties at home and at the workplace. What steps can an

organization take to mitigate this?

3. What decisions related to expatriates could organizations take to maximize the benefits to the company despite

ongoing economic recessions? Do you think a company that paid more careful attention to selection could further

boost their chances of success?

Your case study analysis should follow APA guidelines for formatting of all resources, both in-text and as references. Your

analysis should include a title page and should include a separate reference page. Remember to use the CSU Library to

complete your research for this assignment.

Abstract.

This document gives instructions for preparing your assignment 2 report.  You can use this document as both an instruction and a template into which you can type your own text. The main sections in a report include: introduction, main content and conclusion. Tables and figures are helpful in demonstrating your contents.

Introductions

This template is tailored for assignment 2 of COSC1111/2061, Data Communications and Network- Centric Computing (DCNC). This template is similar to the format of Lecture Notes on Computer Science (LNCS).

 This assignment contributes 25% towards your overall result of DCNC with a bonus of up to 5 additional marks.

 You are expected to work in a group (recommend 3 members) of your choice: o Individual submission would be acceptable; o High standard will be expected to groups have more than 3 members.

 Failure to comply with the instructions may lead to mark deduction.
2 Submission

 Date of submission: 11:59PM, 20th May 2016.  The assignment is to be submitted via Weblearn. Each group only needs to submit once (only one student from your group should submit).

 Please compress your assignment into a single file for submission.

 Remember to include in your submissions the names, student IDs and contribution percentages of every group member, so we can allocate marks appropriately.
Each group chooses one of the following tasks (either Task 1 or Task 2):
3  Tasks
Task 1 Investigation of Time Division Multiplexing (TDM).

Assume a Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) multiplexer combines four sources, A, B, C and D, using a synchronization time slot of 2 bytes with one extra framing bit for synchronization;

1) Draw a picture to describe the synchronized TDM.

2) Explain how time is shared and how the synchronized transmission is implemented 3) Each analog signal is digitized using 8-bit Pulse Code Modulation (PCM). The PAM is shown in Figure 1 below. Give the PCM output of Frame 2, Frame 3 and Frame 4.

4) As shown in Figure 1 below, source C stops transmitting at the third frame, and source D stops transmitting at the fourth frame. Discuss the resource utilization of the multiplexed channels in these cases.

5) Discuss the advantages and the disadvantages of synchronized transmission.

6) Suppose that 10,000 people are talking one-to-one (i.e., 5,000 calls) on the phone at a specific time. What is the total bit rate generated by all these people if each voice call is encoded using PCM, which requires 64kbps for each voice channel?

7) A digital transmission system has a bit rate of 50 Mbps. How many PCM voice calls can be carried by the system?

8) Bonus 5 marks: Investigate how to transmit the student numbers of your team members  more efficient than the synchronized TDM transmission.
Figure 1. Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM) of channels A, B, C and D.

Task 2 2 Investigation of Code Division Multiplexing Access (CDMA) and wireless communications.

The following table shows the development of mobile communications:

Generation Functions Principles 1G  voice-oriented analog technology Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) 2G  voice-oriented digital technology Time  Division Multiple Access (TDMA) 3G  high-speed voice-oriented integrated with data services Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) 4G  IP-based: voice, data, multimedia service Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)
You are required to write a technical report using the given template, which must discuss…

1) …how wireless communication is implemented.

2) …explain the technical details of FDMA and TDMA.

3) …how CDMA, also termed “cellular technology”, works.

4) …how communication is seamlessly maintained while users are moving (not stationary)

5) …how “roaming” service is implemented (understand the cost of roaming).

6) Investigate the capacity of image/video transmission over a wireless link with generations 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G. You may discuss how much bandwidth is available in each generation and whether it is enough to carry images or even videos.

7) Bonus 5 marks: Investigate the issues and risks present in wireless communicaiton.

8) There is no requirement for the length of your report, so long as you adequately answer all points (4 pages is a rough estimate for the LNCS template).

4    Conclusion

You are suggested to start from google search, and read from Wikipedia. You can also search key words to find research publications from Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) and IEEE International Conference.

Assignment Help:Elasticity of Demand-Microeconomics

Assignment Help:Elasticity of Demand-Microeconomics

Assignment

In this Assignment, you will focus on marginal utility, Price Elasticity of Demand, and understanding the difference between Price Elasticity of Demand and Income Elasticity of Demand.

We all subconsciously assign “scores” to what we are considering to purchase, based on our expected level of “satisfaction” (Marginal Utility) with that purchase. When making simultaneous pairs of purchases, again we subconsciously compare the amount of “satisfaction” (Marginal Utility) that we will receive from the pair of purchases. To decide on the “ideal” combination of these two purchases, we expect that the last dollar we spend on each of the items will give us the “same” satisfaction per dollar (Marginal Utility per dollar). Further, we know that the MORE of an item that we get, the next one we get will give us LESS “satisfaction” Marginal Utility) than the last one gave us (the Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility). Using what you have learned about Marginal Utility and Marginal Utility per dollar, answer the following questions.

Questions

  1. Jane has been working all day, missing both her breakfast and lunch. Finally able to leave work, after being required to work a couple of hour’s overtime, she is starving. Jane has $20 in her pocket, so she stops at a local fast food restaurant and orders a grilled chicken sandwich (somewhat healthy) and fries (not so healthy). As she sits down to eat them, a Kaplan University student approaches her and tells her that she is doing a research project for her microeconomics course, and would like to ask Jane a few quick questions. Jane agrees and the student asks what “score” (Marginal Utility) from 1 to 100 would she give as her satisfaction level with the 1st sandwich and the 1st fries? After eating that order, Jane is still hungry and orders a second chicken sandwich and another fries. Again, the student asks Jane to give her new scores. Since Jane has not eaten all day, she is hungry enough to order a third round of food and again gives “scores” to the inquisitive student.

Below is the Kaplan student’s completed experiment tally sheet of Jane’s marginal utility “scores” and the calculation of her marginal utility per dollar, given that each sandwich costs $4.00 and each order of fries costs $2.00, along with her budget of $20. The student filled in the shaded cells based on Jane’s responses, then computed the values in the remaining cells. Using this information, answer the following questions:

  1. Is Jane maximizing her utility? Explain your reasoning and show any calculations.

  1. If Jane is not maximizing her utility, remembering the Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility, would she be better off to buy one less chicken sandwich and one more fry? Explain your reasoning and show any calculations.

  1. If Jane is not maximizing her utility with the original purchase combination, remembering the Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility, would she be better off buying just one more fry? Explain your reasoning and show any calculations.

  1. If Jane is not maximizing her utility with the original purchase, remembering the Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility, would she be better off buying one less fries and one more chicken sandwich? Explain your reasoning and show any calculations.

  1. Remembering the Learning Practice in Unit 3, in the year 107 WBCE (Way Before the Common Era) the Gondwanaland Chairman of Production reported that the gosum berry growers were able to meet an average demand of 700 barrels of gosum berries per month at an average a price of $70 per barrel.

In the year 108 WBCE the growers were plagued with a gosum berry bug infestation that reduced average output, causing production to fall to only 600 barrels per month, causing the price to rise to $84 per barrel. The following table shows the Chairman’s report:

Year (WBCE) Monthly barrels of gosum berries demanded Price per barrel
107 700 $70
108 600 $84

  1. Using the midpoint method, calculate the price elasticity of demand for Gondwanaland gosum berries. Explain what this price elasticity of demand means?

  1. What is the monthly average total revenue for year 107, and the monthly average total revenue for year 108? How do these numbers compare to each other?

Year (WBCE) Monthly barrels of gosum berries demanded Price per barrel Monthly average total revenue
107 700 $70
108 600 $84
Change in

average total monthly revenue

  1. Using your answer to part a. above, how could you have predicted this change in total monthly revenue?

  1. The Gondwanaland Chairman of Production reported that the new Altair chariots (most modern, horse drawn family chariot) had a PRICE elasticity of 3 and an INCOME elasticity of 2. The supply of these Altair chariots is elastic. Evaluate the following statements and explain why you think they are true, or false.

  1. A 20% increase in the price of the Altair chariot will cause the quantity demanded to fall by an astounding 60%.

  1. An increase in Gondwanaland consumers’ incomes will cause prices to rise, but the total quantity demanded will also increase.

Extent of Audit

Through a review procedure, budgetary explanations are checked for errors and the exactness of the reported data. Adequate data ought to be gotten to survey whether the data gave is valid and reasonable as required by the law. The mistakes and extortion are additionally checked to guarantee the controls are effective to identify the dangers. The money related explanations are tried to guarantee consistence with the pertinent laws and guidelines (Caanz, 2016)

The evaluator has the duty of checking the money related proclamations and testing the precision of the reported figures by the element. Consistence with universal guidelines is key as this is a necessity of the law. The extent of the review will include experiencing the exchanges of the business to check the nature of the inward arrangement of controls for the organization. The applicable expense prerequisites are additionally evaluated in the review procedure. The evaluator is required to suggest enhanced and better methods for reporting. The inner controls ought to likewise be moved up to guarantee the procedures are all around characterized and there are negligible odds of mistakes and misrepresentation. The inside review capacity is in charge of the everyday observing of the exercises of the association. The outside examiner will depend to some degree, on the work of the interior evaluator. The interior review capacity is available in the expansive associations in respect to the little partnerships that will just require the outer review capacity. This is because of the volume of exchanges and the dangers of blunders and cheats (Limited, 2009).

The review will include the trial of the reported figures for exactness. The examinations continue to the nature and sorts of exchanges that have been embraced by the firm under review. Consistence with the material standard and laws will be finished. Specific interest is given to the related party exchanges. The related gatherings are the associated people and elements of the association. These incorporate the relative on account of Jane and her privately-owned company. The necessity is the full revelation of the related party exchange by the reporting element. The confirmation of benefits is embraced inside the extent of the review in accordance with the current money and bank. These are the zones that are more inclined to mistakes and fakes and accordingly ought to have adequate controls to screen the exchanges. Testing of the finance is done to guarantee the standard statutory reasoning are made as required by the law and that there are no apparition specialists that are paid the pay rates. Organizations have one of a kind exchanges that should be comprehended by the reviewer to get the exact discoveries by the review

Permitting access to the classified data

The inspectors are required by expert measures to sign the privacy records before undertaking the review. This is done together with the freedom check before the engagement letter is given. The reviewer will need to hold up under the duty regarding any misfortune to the customer as a consequence of not keeping the data classified. The expert body that is discovered careless will bear the misfortune. Nonetheless, the customer may approve the arrival of the data to people in general for straightforwardness and get reserves from the shareholders.

Danger of unaudited monetary proclamations

In the event that the money related articulations are not examined, then there is a danger of material error in the reported results by the organization. The contributing open will deceive when settling on the speculation choice. The suppliers will likewise be at a misfortune in the event that the organization experiences liquidation. The shareholders will wind up not getting anything if the organization risks being put under receivership. The law additionally requires that all organizations ought to have their money related explanations inspected for better corporate administration and reasonability in the budgetary part (Philomena Leung, 2015).

Fake practices will be supported as an aftereffect of not inspecting the monetary explanations. The money related soundness of the element is uncovered through the review procedure. His is as a rule to the greatest advantage of all the organization’s partners who are qualified for the genuine and reasonable perspective of the condition of records of the organization. Sound proportion investigation can’t be led by the experts who wish to monitor the past execution patterns of the organization.

Jane inspecting the firm

Jane is a related gathering to the reporting element and she can’t qualify to be an evaluator of the substance she is overseeing. Likewise, she is a shareholder and this will make an irreconcilable situation for her as a supervisor reviewer and shareholder of the organization. The autonomy of Jane will likewise be bargained as an aftereffect of her relations with the substance. Likewise, she won’t not have the important expert necessities and capabilities to be a reviewer. She needs to experience the vital preparing to completely turn into an authorized reviewer. Similarly, she needs to offer her shares in order to meet the freedom check for her to have the capacity to review the organization. Jane would likewise need to leave from her position as an administrator of the firm to keep away from irreconcilable situation.

Jane can bolster the review capacity by setting up a solid arrangement of inward control and strategies to manage the day by day operations of the firm. As the organization develops, she can likewise acquaint the interior review capacity with consistently screen the exercises of the organization.

Purpose behind picking the specific firm

My review firm would be the most fitting taking into account the elements examined in the accompanying sections. Various contemplations have been settled on with respect to the decision of the review firm that will be occupied with the review procedure of the organization that has recently changed over structure association.

After a watchful assessment of the delicate procedure, the most suitable firm is chosen taking into account the fitness and capability. The historical backdrop of the review performed by the organization in addition to the nature of the review ought to likewise be considered. It is imperative to build up the notoriety of the review firm to be locked in. The review panel is in charge of drawing in the review firm. The contemplations are set aside a few minutes and expense to be charged by the review firm. The way of the firm under review ought to likewise be set up taking into account the volume and many-sided quality if the exchanges (Marshall Romney, 2012). A little startup like ought not draw in a major review firm that would charge high rates for the review expenses. The particular information of the inspector in the one of a kind exchange of the organization ought to likewise be a variable to be considered to guarantee greatest quality is gotten from the review of the customer organization. Having recently changed over to an organization from an association, the size of operations is generally low

The review panel is entrusted with guaranteeing quality and convenient review of the budgetary proclamations. They can prescribe a conceivable change of the review firm to another. The shareholders at the yearly broad meeting are in charge of the endorsement of progress starting with one review firm then onto the next (Jeremy Lonsdale, 2011).

With the extent of the review set, an engagement letter is offered to the inspectors to continue with the review. The review desires are spoken with the customer soliciting the discovery and change from the feeble frameworks of inside control. To get the best quality from the review procedure, there are least capability gauges that are set. What’s more, the review experts are relied upon to have the significant capability to lead the review.

By and by, the review expense ought to be considered during the time spent selecting the reasonable review firm. The review can be dull thinking of it as is the principal review after transformation from an association. The review firm ought to consider giving bookkeeping guidance to the customer organization on the best practices to keep up legitimate books of record. Note that the expense of the review will be founded on the time taken for the review in addition to nature and multifaceted nature if the bookkeeping data that has been accommodated review (Staff, 2010)

Need Help-College Entry Essay (Mathematics)

Need Help-College Entry Essay (Mathematics)

Some students have a background, identity, interest, talent that is meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If it sounds like you than please share your story

Amid my school years and as ahead of schedule as in the fourth grade, I was staggered by the assortment of conceivable uses of arithmetic in regular daily existence. The way that even a straightforward thing, for example, leaves developing on a tree, can be put into a succession, a Fibonacci’s arrangement to be more precise, is simply noteworthy. Also, the rundown goes, on with PC frameworks and projects and additionally the web and applications that are all composed and modified utilizing distinctive numerical calculations like for instance Euclid’s calculation. I respect the excellence of head breaking oddities, which sound so natural and self-evident, where as in reality their confirmation is exceptionally troublesome and scientific and utilizes the Horse mystery or Zeno’s conundrum or Grandi’s arrangement. Wherever we turn, whatever we do, there is a math application and that is the manner by which it was since the get-go.

For me by and by arithmetic can clarify a great deal of exceptionally confounded thoughts in an extremely basic manner, and can be utilized to sum them up. Additionally in Mathematics there are a great deal of totally distinctive strategies for accomplishing the same arrangement what makes me much more spurred and inspired by it.

The fulfillment I get from fathoming a scientific errand is comparable to climbing a top of a mountain bluff. The main contrast is that the quantity of these precipices is ceaseless and sky is the breaking point! The themes I have explored the most are, synchronous conditions and Gaussian Elimination. I additionally looked into changed sorts of conditions with whole number arrangements, called Diophantine conditions and in actuality it turned into my investigation point for my IB Higher Level Mathematics Internal Assessment. In my first year of the IB program one of my most loved themes were capacities and separation, and what’s more I have been perusing about Leibniz’s documentations, which clarify a practical relationship between an autonomous and obscene variables and supernatural capacities. A few people like perusing fiction and some like finding out about the history and for me investigating the World of arithmetic is the thing that fulfills me the most.

However difficult the IB program abnormal state arithmetic are , I’ve been taking exams in the Russian secondary school amid each school break throughout the previous four years. I reached a conclusion that the methodology arithmetic is educated in Russia is some way or another not the same as in the school in the UK. This helped me to widen my perspectives and learning significantly all the more, particularly in the zones of unadulterated variable based math and hard trigonometry. I have altogether delighted in the utilization of science in these territories, despite the fact that it was very trying for me to study, in two distinct nations and in two unique dialects throughout the previous four years at the same time.

My enthusiasm for arithmetic is great to the point that last year I joined the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology separation learning Olympiad school, keeping in mind the end goal to grow my insight into science much more and have the capacity to work and speak with individuals who share a comparable energy for arithmetic as me. This was a chance for me to increase more extensive supposition about various numerical issues furthermore have entry to some school level scientific issues and arrangements. I have totally delighted in this experience and it was an incredible fulfillment for me to acquire information in programming, material science and arithmetic.

I feel satisfied when I am included and adapting more about the extraordinary World of maths. Later on I might want to have the capacity to apply the information I have, all things considered, for instance in displaying PC projects or making new seeking calculations! I am likewise exceptionally inspired by utilizing arithmetic to foresee monetary patterns, and research into computerized reasoning, which could be executed into stock trade and connected financial matters.

MBS 518 Principles of Business Governance

                                                                 Assignment   Semester 2 2016

Edward and Johnny are brothers and love to sail together. They want to turn their sporting interest into a business. They then decided to start their own business called Everbright Sails Pty Ltd.

Edward and Johnny design and manufacture sails for all size yachts and supply wholesale to retail outlets. Their company becomes very successful and soon they need more sophisticated machinery to ensure that their business is profitable.

Edward’s cousin Julio is also in the manufacturing business, supplying plant and manufacturing equipment to factories. Julio is the sole director and marketing manager for the company Equipment Pty Ltd. On Monday Julio approaches his cousin Edward at a wedding function and offers to sell Everbright new sail making machinery that has been developed in France. Julio claims that the equipment will improve output and efficiency in the sail making factory by 30%. He said he is prepared to sell the equipment to them for only $80,000. Julio said the offer will end on Friday at 5pm, and acceptance could be by email or post.

Edward and Johnny think that Julio’s offer is a very good and one which would enable Everbright to increase production and profit. Edward and Johnny are keen to accept Julio’s offer but feel that they really should try to negotiate better terms. On Tuesday Edward sends Julio an email on behalf of Everbright which states :

Everbright Sails is very interested in your offer. However we believe that the new equipment will only deliver a 15% profit return on capital, so we are only prepared to pay you the amount of $50,000 for the machinery.

Julio happens to be on a three day conference on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, so has not read his email. Meanwhile Edward and Johnny have reconsidered their position and are feeling nervous that they may have missed the deal because they have not heard back from Julio. They decide to accept Equipment Pty Ltd’s original offer and on behalf of Everbright post Julio a letter on Friday morning agreeing to purchase the French machinery for $80,000. Just to be sure, at the same time they email Julio. Due to problems with Equipment Pty Ltd ISP, the email is not received into Equipment Pty Ltd’s system until 6pm Friday.

Over the weekend Julio meets with his old friend Jack who happened to be in the market for the same French sail making machinery. Julio owes Jack a favour so wants to give the machinery to Jack instead of selling it to Everbright. On Monday morning, Julio reads his email and opens the post. He calls Edward and Johnny and says the deal is off. Edward and Johnny are very upset and want to force Julio to sell them the French machinery.

What are the risk factors involved in the above negotiations :

Students with family name A to K : Advise, using appropriate objective references,  Edward and Johnny (Everbright P/L) as to whether or not a contract exists with Julio (Equipment P/L)

Students with family name L to Z : Advise, using appropriate objective references, Julio (Equipment P/L)as to whether or not a contract exists with Edward and Johnny (Everbright P/L).

SCENARIO

As a LTU student you are given a placement at a secondary school. Recent reports in the media have raised awareness of a study conducted by researchers at LTU on the sexual health of secondary students. Two issues raised in the report have received particular attention about behaviours among secondary school students: alcohol and drug use; and the use of technology and cyberbullying.

The media attention has led to an increase in the number of parents at the school raising concerns about these issues. In response, the school principal has approached the LTU placement students, who are studying Public Health, Rehab Counselling or Health Information Management, and asked them to prepare a response to the report that includes additional analysis of relevant data. This is needed so that teachers in the school are better informed about the research and can answer parents’ questions. The principal makes it clear that the expectation is for “evidence-based reports” as some of the parents “know a lot about this sort of thing and we need to be clear that we know what we are talking about”.

The school has also collected data from two sources:

  • A random sample of students in Years 10, 11 and 12
  • A focus group with Year 12 students.

Public Health, Rehab Counselling placement students were asked to prepare a report based on the NSASSH report and the focus group data to address the following three research questions.

  • How do drinking patterns, in terms of the number of drinks on a day that a student has an alcoholic drink vary for all students in Years 10, 11 and 12 and for male and female students in Years 10, 11 and 12?
  • Are any observed differences in drinking patterns for these groups statistically significant?
  • Considering the qualitative data available, what are possible explanations for drinking behaviours in Year 12 students?
